A Gourd full of promises

This vegetable, be it red, green, orange, striped or speckled is a beginning of creativity. Pumpkin seeds to eat, the flesh to bake, the shape to behold to become a clay bowl, small and precious to hold a fine powder or a prized gem; then swollen to contain food, and even larger to cook food over flame. Finally to be used as funerary possessions at our end.
