Afghan for a beginner??

I love the pattern but I haven't attempted it yet. I'm still working on my Daisy Granny Squares & learning how to change colour & finish rounds..

Beautiful - Inclusive Pattern

Very complete pattern with clear instructions and photos to accompany. I am excited to gift this made up into an all sunflower pattern to my granddaughter as a wedding shower gift...she's using sunflowers as her wedding flowers! I simply converted the flower portion using brown center, yellow for the petals, and the first ivory transition round to a soft sage green to become the leaves to frame the flower. Using a light beige for the remainder of the pattern. Had to switch to size G hook to get gauge right.
